Divergent Book Review

I recently finished Divergent by Veronica Roth. I really enjoyed this amazingly awesome book! I cannot think of a word to describe this wonderful book.
Here is the cover of the book Divergent

I know that most middle schoolers don't like to read but reading is one of my most favorite way to relieve stress. Whenever I feel mad or sad I always get out a book and read. Divergent is a great book to get hooked into and to just forget what is going on in the real world. Divergent is set in a dystopian world divided into 5 factions, each of the factions represent a certain quality. The 5 factions are Abnegation which represents humbleness and selflessness then there is Candor. Candor represents truth and honesty, there is also Amity which is known for their peace and kindness. Next is Dauntless which represents fearlessness, bravery, and courage, and finally there is Erudite. Erudite represents wisdom and knowledge. The people who live in this world are born into one of the 5 factions, when you turn 16 you must go and take an aptitude test to decide which faction you will go into. You can either stay in your same faction or change to a different faction for the rest of your life.

In this book an Abnegation girl, Beatrice, goes into take her aptitude test. Her results to see which faction is recommended for her to chose were "inclusive" which means she is Divergent. Being Divergent is not a good thing to be. The Divergents are thought to be dangerous especially if they are in the faction Dauntless. Beatrice then goes and decides which faction she wants to be in. What faction do you think she will pick? Read the book and find out!!

Overall I very highly recommend you to go buy and read this book! This is definitely one of the best books I've ever read! On March 21st the movie will come out! I always read the book first!
